Winterhawks coach Johnston picked to lead Penguins

Multiple reports indicate that the Penguins have agreed to a contract with Mike Johnston, coach of the Western Hockey League's Portland Winterhawks. TSN's Darren Dreger was the first to report the hiring, saying that the deal is for three years.
